This is dedicated to everyone who ever just feels like their isn't someone out there for them.
We all deserve someone good in our lifes. Someone who balances out the other side of what we see when we look in the mirror. Someone who can just look at you and make everything better. Someone who's smile tells you just how happy they are to see you when you walk into the room. Someone who's kiss lets you know how much they really care. As your fingers lock perfectly with theirs you know that you are meant to be holding their hand. Someone who's heartbeat matches yours, even when it skips a beat. Someone who laughs at the same jokes, screams at th
The tears inside shed at night.
Hidden by a mask so tight.
Never going to let it show.
No one will ever know.
Inside I just feel dead.
Scary it's not just in my head.
And so the last petal fell from the tree. The wind carried it far far away from the tree. The petal came to land miles away, gently on the sea. The sea's waves took it far from shore. On a lonely night a fisherman found it floating near his boat. He took it with him. He returned home and placed it on the windowsill. One day the wind pick the petal back up. It was taken far from the windowsill. Until it came to land on your hand. You were laying under the petal's tree. It had made it back home. It was finally happy once again.
Today I looked in the mirror.
I didn't notice the man looking back.
I tried to figure out who I was staring at.
Every movement he did matched mine.
He somewhat looked like me.
I just couldn't imagine that being me.
Realizing that the man who stared back was me.
I came to the conclusion that I liked who I had become.
Grab the keys, jump in the car, put the windows down, blast the music. Hit the interstate going 100. I'm going to speed my way right into your heart. The beating of the heart increases with the speed of the car. Now I'm hitting 110, not a cop for miles. Following signs leading me to you I'm about to hit 120. All I can think about is your smile and laugh. As the engine hits 130 it blows. Now I'm on foot only halfway to you. I'm only hoping that when I get there that you'll be happy to see me. People stop to ask if I need a ride, but I say no. My legs are getting tired, I only have a couple miles left. As I enter the town people stop and stare
